The 2025 Guild Members Challenge is Yo Yo's. According to the Tobacco Farm Life Museum, yoyo quilts were popular in the 1920s through the 1940s. It’s not hard to imagine why these quilts were popular, especially during the Great Depression in the US. They could be made from small fabric scraps and not many tools were needed, so women could use up whatever fabric was on hand. A great scrap buster!
Remember the Yo Yo's are the star of your piece. Size is limited to 40” square.

We host several quilting events throughout the year, including trunk shows, guest speakers, and charity events. These events are a great way to meet other quilters, learn new techniques, and support a good cause. Check out our events calendar for more information.
Join our quilting community and connect with fellow quilters. Share your projects, get inspiration, and participate in our events and workshops. Classes offer a variety of quilting methods led by multiple instructors.
